So this was my first season back on a Polaris since my 05 900. I swore I would never own another Polaris, but the Pro is just that awesome. I love this sled, but I did have some motor issues, seems Polaris hasn't changed a bit. But here is a video and some pics of this season before my motor decided to take a dump. Hope you enjoy them!

excellent video. i think that is the best "amateur video i've seen. well done, obviously a lot of time into it. i really like your wrap too. who's is it? i guessing on-line i would think it would be to blingy for me but on your sled it looked really good. i need to hook you up with my brother. he lives in park city and is always looking for more riding partners. hasn't been there very long. although he does ride a doo...

Thanks! I try to make my videos unlike everyone elses. I just need a better camera and a tripod! Park City is a few hours south of where I'm at, but I've always wanted to ride down there but I've never had anyone that could show me around. I got my wrap from Toy Skinz. I had them design it. It is thick material and has a lot more coverage than Arctic Fx. Cheaper too!

so what all happened to your motor
The pin that keeps the piston ring in place broke out and scored the cylinder, then that caused the ring to move around and blow out the piston and cylinder. Well based on the damage thats what I'm assuming what happend. 2 months out of warranty. Sled has about 2200 miles.

so it is an 11 then? is that why it is out of warranty. how many miles? that's pretty much bs if they won't work with you on the motor. at least give you a significant discount on parts (like cost) if polaris says absolutely no on covering it. i lost a cylinder skirt at around 2000 miles that took out the entire motor. had to have it flown out by helo. 600 bucks that wasn't covered by the warranty but worth is since i didn't have to bother my buddies with helping me get it out. it would have been a huge PITA. my dealer had me up and running in about 9 days and was apologizing to me that it wasn't sooner. should have been about 4 days but the adjuster dragged his feet for a few days before driving the 40 miles from anchorage to give the ok. my bro doesn't know the area very well has he only got out a couple of times this year but i would imagine he would be willing to drive your direction if it means he gets out more. next year anyway. sounds like the snow is done? anyway, thanks for the info, i'll have to check them out. need a wrap for the 13 so it doesn't look like everyone else.

T... normally if the ring locator(pin) comes out..it was because of hitting det(rattles the pin out).....ask your dealer to hit polaris up for a good will warranty..even if its just parts it will help....

I tore the motor down and ran the parts up to the dealer, then they wanted pictures so I ran the entire sled up there and they took pictures and sent them to Polaris. Its an 11 Pro, warranty was up in January, I took every thing in at the beginning of March. And have yet to hear a word. I called them last week and said they still haven't heard back from Polaris. I'm starting to get a little frustrated. I've talked with another dealer and they said polaris should have given them an answer within the day.. I would love it if they can get the parts covered, I actually prefer it that way. I don't like other people wrenching on my sled, but At this point I don't even care if it gets warrantied, I would just like an answer so I can get going on fixing it.

He's more than welcome to come ride with us. We're always looking for new people to ride with! But his year was a bust and our snowpack is all but gone. Where most of this video was shot currently has 56 inches. Last year at this time it had 145". Yeah hit up Toy Skinz and tell them Tanner sent you!

Really liked the video, call me weird, one of my favorite parts was the sleds view of being rolled. The ending was great.
