We parked at the Y where there was about 8" or so...met up with about 8 other riders and rode up to the meadows. When we got to the meadows it was mostly untouched powder atleast 3' deep. We didnt waste much time to press on to find our way through the woods toward salad bowl. We crossed the creek and broke trail through the trees until we got to the valley. We made it close enough to see Peanut knob but the rocks and boulders were just not filled in enough and we ran too much risk of missing A Arms
.So we aborted. The mountain looked beautiful and inviting and i'm pretty sure it waved good-bye as we turned around....
Still, I think our highmark will stand atleast a few days or until another 4' or so falls.
Was a great adventure and as always we encountered some good dudes to romp with.
