H hellclimber Free Member Dec 1, 2007 #5 stop being a baby.. the previewthingie is very useful. i like it and all you probably were crazy before the popups showed up anywho.. i kid, i kid, i joke, i joke i think they are good, cause then i get a quick preview of the message before i have too see the entire message. but i don't like the "theme" they use for this forum.. oh well..

W Wayniac Member Dec 1, 2007 #7 The other forum I have been using the past few years has the preview windows and I really like them. You will get used to it. It is a real time saver since you don't have to open the topic to see if it is something you are interested in.

E Ex-Member ACCOUNT CLOSED Dec 1, 2007 #8 They're called "Tooltips". You can turn them on/off in Firefox prefs, dunno about aIEeee though. I believe in firefox's about:config you can define which type of links get tooltips.
