It looks like I am moving my family and I up to Fort Nelson. I have herd there is good riding about an hour south, but not sure if thats the only area.

Any riders from that area on here?

Anyone know if I can get race fuel locally?

There is a Polaris dealer and a Skidoo dealer there. Although I didn't get a chance to stop in last week when I was up there. They might have it. Fort St John has race fuel available so worst case might be a little freight. The mountains all looked very white. Enjoy the north country!!

Good riding in the Summit Lake area, 1.5 hrs west. What brings you up to Fort Nelson? Looking at moving out to the area myself this winter.

I am working with one of the equipment companies in the service department.

What about you?

Hey guys

I live in fort Nelson. Oilfield construction equipment operator.
There is indeed some pretty good riding north/west and south of here. Summit as mentioned is good, and to the south you have Nevis creek/ redfurn areas which are to the west of buckinghorse. 1.5 hrs south of fn. It's a bit of a hike to get back into the hills there.

If were looking for a day ride those are the places to go, however if were looking for a few days plus, we usually head down to the pine pass or up to the Yukon

Let me know if you need any more info or would like to meet up with some local sledders.

Cheers

Jon

Btw there is lots of work up here right now and going ahead
