Water dipping?

Has anyone done water dipping on their side panels? Dustin James from Outlaw Motorsports did a Nytro this year(side panels and tank cowlings) and it turned out sweet! Does the paint hold up?

I have not done it myself but I did research it. Here is a link to a company that looks like they know their stuff. I believe the price is around $.25 a sq inch. The sweet thing about it is the way you can customize it.

Thanks Motleyone. Dustin had his done out of Idaho??? I think it was called hydro-dip! $750 for both side panels and tank cowlings. Outlaw Motorsports-gallery will show pics of the orange Nytro. Wonder how the paint holds up if the panels are bent. I believe they are treated with the same clear coating that 3M and the other big companies use!?

Water transfer is SUPER cool. 509 goggles are dipped and the finish is bullet proof. You can twist them 360 degrees, drag them across concrete and the finish stays in tact. I bet a finish on a side panel would also be durable if done right.

Dustin's Sled - awesome ride!
