Watch for Stolen sleds from Helena area

Receieved an email from our club about these sleds stolen, just passing it on. Hope we catch the theives and recover the sleds.

STOLEN -

2 - 2004 SkiDoo Summit 550 on a 2002 8x12 V-Nose fold down/tilt Aluminum SledBed trailer (Licence Number 5 - R643) stolen over the holidays from Fox Ridge Golf Course area. These sleds have faded cotton covers, they are black with yellow decals, luggage racks on both, yellow skid pans, very low miles. Trailer may have a low or flat tire. GOOD NEWS!!! Sleds and trailer were recovered!


To all the great Clubs and dealers out there. I want to thank all for your enthusiastic response and support for helping us locate our stolen snowmobiles. I received a call about 5pm today 1/9 from the Lewis and Clark County Sheriff and they had recovered them via a Crime Stoppers tip. Overall in good shape, one now has broken suspension, windshield and the trailer has different wheels but all the same, happy to be sledding again.

Great work. Good guys win for once. Hope the thieves didn't bleed all over things before they were cuffed n stuffed. I have that windshield in Yellow with a big X if they want it. Let me know. EW

Charges filed

Two men charged with felony theft of snowmobiles..


The question is Will the justice system finish the job. . . and PUNISH them.

Sit them in a cell for some time to THINK. Time will tell.
