The "goon squad" and i are planning a trip to McCall this winter.
Hoping a native can give some advice?

The trip is tentatively set for mid Feb but, i was looking for feedback on when
the McCall area see's the most snow?
We planned on staying at the Bear Creek Lodge as some in my riding group have stayed there before and speak highly of the place.
I know snow pack is low nation wide right now. So what is typical for the area
in a average snow season?

Stay classy Idaho:face-icon-small-win

There is a large group of us heading down there from Feb 18th thru the 24th. This will be my 10th year down there and "normally" there is a decent amount of snow right now for riding. I would hate to think that by mid February that it wouldn't be good to go....but with this year so far I would hate to bet the farm on it!

For the most part I think that mid to late February is usually when the snow is the deepest in McCall.

8 of us are heading out next Thursday for 5 days in McCall. Staying at Bear Creek Lodge again. Cannot say enough good things about that place. They are supposed to get some snow starting Monday thru Saturday. I will let you know how the conditions are/were for our trip. I hope there is snow, if not, 5 days of steady drinking may have it's toll on me....

The snow is horrible rght now.. To be honest its going to be horrbile for the rest of the year! I would sugest going else where to go sledding. You wont have any fun here, as it WILL be crappy snow conditions.

p.s - Thats code for "STAY AWAY FROM MY SNOW"!!! ;-)
