Washington Blue Mountains

A group of us once stayed at a Forest Service Cabin called: The Wentachee Guard Station. Rustic, but cheap and we were right on the trail each morning. Go to the "Cloverland Snow Park (http://www.parks.wa.gov/winter/trails/?TrailType=motorized&Region=6&Park=139) out of Aostin......If you want something nice, the Best Western in Clarkston is owned by a couple of serious snowmobilers - Jim and Ella Dilling.....Good people.....

You can also get into the Blues from Pomeroy or Dayton, but I've never done it myself, from Pomeroy, it looks like a long tow from the pavement??.......

Stay in Clarkston WA or Lewiston ID.
You're about 35 - 40 minutes to the Cloverland Snopark. 50 minutes to an hour to Rose Springs Snopark out of Pomeroy Wa.

thank you

Thanks for the info, I was looking for something like a cabin or lodge for rent, we usually go to leavenworth as a family for a couple of weekends, but wanted to find something closer, so we could go more. Lewiston is a little far away, since I live just outside the Tri-Cities, I would just go home. Once again, thanks for the info.
