Mine is an 07 X ,thought it had a 2 year bumper to bumper warranty. If you own an 07 BE AWARE second year warranty ONLY covers the long block and clutch, nothing electrical.you could end up being out lots of money! My 07 died last week, took it to the dealer, thinking it was still under warranty,it turns out it was an electrical failure, blowing all the fuses, service manager called me to tell me it was out of warranty but at this point what am I going to do.They worked on it for a couple hours at $100 an hour, finially unplugging all electrical and reattaching.Said it is working now but who knows for how long:confused:Hope they work with me

Somebody mislead you if you were told bumper to bumper - it has always been stated as "second year engine coverage"
Good luck though, hope it works out for you. All they did was unplug it and reattach? I would crawl all over every wire looking for a short if it is blowing fuses and they never really did anything...

Thought it was bumper to bumper, guess I didn't read the fine print, thought second year engine coverage would cover electrical shorts since it killed the motor, all gauges flashed then died thougth it was the ECM.Took dealer 2+ hours to figure this out.If I had known this I would have put more personal effort into finding the problem but thought it was warranty covered. For 10k it should run longer than 13 months.Story isn't over yet maybe the dealer will come thru for me and help me out.Hope so

now that you have it back, carefully unplug the computor harness and coat the pins with dielectric grease, as with the rest of your conections, you can get a small tube at auto zone

Sometimes you can get lucky, and BRP may pay for parts and you pay for labor. I'm going to get a new track for my 159 and just going to pay the labor. Good Luck!

The nice thing is usually work done by dealers is covered for a year so if it happens again you should be able to go back and tell them you already paid for it to be fixed and they should fix it for free. Hopefully they don't tellyou it is a new problem.

If you ready warranty close in owners manual it will say that all electric componets to do with emmissions are covered by 2nd year warr. I bet you could argue this is involved with the emmission.

Read it and you will figure it out.
