THIS POST IS ABOUT INSURANCE FOR BOTH SLED AND HOMEOWNERS! MARCH 15TH I LOST MY HOME DO TO A FIRE! IT WAS A TOTAL LOSS I HAD 5 SLEDS IN THE GARAGE AND 4 OF THEM ARE NOT COVERED ON INSURANCE. HOMEOWNER INSURANCE DOES NOT COVER THEM SO CHECK INSURANCE SPEND A LITTLE MORE TO COVER YOUR TOYS ETC.

Of course they wouldnt cover them Then insurance people wonder why we hate them??? Thanks for posting this because my sled was under my homeowners policy also So I know what I am going to do Monday morning!! Sorry about your house RCR3, glad knowbody got hurt!!

A good way to remember what is covered.

I was told by my insurance agent many years ago that anything with a license (registration) is not covered under home owners. Sleds, Auto, Boats, ATV's etc. Riding lawn mowers, snow blowers, tillers, log splitters, chain saws etc. that don't require a license are covered.

Yes they do. Trust me try to ride a race sled in the ditch to tune it. I've gotten 3 tickets doing this
