Alpental ski area had some nice new accumulation today from about 4,000 feet up. They had 7 inches and it was still coming down hard when I left.
Correct me if I'm wrong, but most of Gold Creek's riding is 4-5k feet. We just need 8 more feet to cover up some of those trees! I'm a magnet for the cut off ones lurking just under the snow.

I was thinking of trying gold creek monday! A friend was there today and said it was wet and no visability,but maybe with the snow level dropping that will improve monday!
the tower is only 4800...

Hey guys,
Ya, I am so tired of Washington winters, I wish my wife wanted to move as bad as I did. Maybe one of these days. I am sure I can find a place to work and were there is great snow in the winter, and my wife can get a great job in any city with a hospital. Washington bites!

Those same discussions have been going on here in our house this year. Salt Lake would be nice, CO maybe? Somewhere with snow, lots of sun, and jobs would be awesome.
The weather could be changing for the better! At least it's cold out there, and we aren't currently losing any more. NWS says snow Thursday-Sunday with snow level steadily decreasing. Too early to tell how much. Praying for a monster dump!
