Wanting to go riding soon - where to go?

My friends and I are looking to go to the mountains either the first or second weekend in December. We usually go to Cooke City for our first trip of the year, but I hear that there is not enough snow yet. Whether it be West Yellowstone, Towgotee, the Big Horns, or some other place, I would appreciate some snow reports. We just can't wait to go riding anymore. Any reports would be good and pictures would be better. Thanks guys.

check the snotel sites: www3.wcc.nrcs.usda.gov/snow/ click on the state and then the sites in the area that you are interested in. Not alot of snow anywhere yet.

WY High Country has a 20" base and 6" of new snow. People from Cooke City have been here and they said this is practically the only place around with descent snow. Come check us out.

Been riding Towgotee the past couple weekends, its pretty decent. Lots of people.

I heard Towgotee was ok. We would have to drive about 12 hours to get there. would it be worth it?

I don't know if revy is to far for you but i just went last weekend and it was so nice. Lots of snow and i didn't hit one thing all weekend.

I've heard the Snowies are getting pretty good. Does anybody know any good riding areas out there? We are talking about going there.
