Big D shed some light on it

wanted experienced crew... 05-17-2009 09:43 AM Adrenaline Revolution He deserves to stay red for a while. The "Perfect" part was damaged but I didn't know about it until I installed it.

Yes, it was me and No, I didn't give anyone Red for turning Brian back to green, I don't work that way but I did turn him back to red for a while...

EDIT...Apparently I did give you red by mistake and I apologize for that...Cut from the other thread...

Yup, thanks for the red jacka$$, after all the green I sent you too!?

If I sent you red with that comment it was a mistake.
I don't play that way so here's twice as much green to try to fix it.
I most likely hit the wrong dang button.
I RARELY give red....Unless you're snowhawkaddict!:D

I left it anonymous only because I didn't want to start a Sh!t war on the forums and I never posted one of those "Don't deal with (insert name here) because they ripped me off" threads either.
Brian brought the note that went with the red out to show everyone.
I basically did it to let him know that there can be consequences for not telling the absolute truth when selling stuff to other forum members and fellow sledders.
I wanted it to bother him for a little while, trying to figure out who was unhappy with a deal he made which it obviously did or this wouldn't still be alive all this time.

He knows what he sold me, he knew about the defect, and he didn't tell the truth about it when he sold me the part. The deal took place at Gonnason's open house so alcohol and lack of daylight was a contributing factor in a hasty decision to buy.
I lived with it for months but every time I looked at the sled or sat on it I was reminded that I was stupid for not looking more carefully at it and that he was somewhat dishonest about it.

Not really a big deal which is why I only slapped his rep instead of slamming his actual reputation and start a pizzing match.

The part is usable and is still on my sled but I'm a perfectionist about certain things and this "Perfect" part just isn't. It's ok though...I'll be a little more careful next time that's all. Lessons learned.
If it was a bigger deal then I would have asked for my $350 or $400 back.
(I honestly don't remember how much I gave for it)

So go ahead and Flame away.

LOL
I didn't know this thread was revived over the summer......

One other note to add to this saga to end it.......nothing besides an anonymous red rep was done to resolve this supposedly "defective used boss seat"
We talked on the phone and I agreed to bring it to Gonnasons where very early in the evening we met, we went out to the truck,he looked over the seat, handed over the money and we both went back to the open house.
I never heard from him again.

Had he sent me a pm, email, or just called me it would have been handled to his satisfaction. IE, I would have done whatever he wanted to do, including up to a full refund.

FACT is he did nothing except send me an anonymous bad rep.
He also apparently proceed to explain what a victim he is and how he was ripped off to others on the forum via pm's.

When SW lifted the anonymous Vail and exposed that it was AR that left the red rep, I contacted him and he said that he was just upset and that it wasn't really a big deal that the seat had a slight indentation and was usable. He explained that he was upset because he thought that I intentionally lied about the defect, and that it wasn't as big of a deal anymore.
I don't remember there being anything wrong with the seat but it had been used for a year.
Bottom line...... if you bought something and were unhappy with it what would a normal person do?

A) Contact him to resolve the issue?
B) Anonymously leave bad rep and expect him to solve a riddle?
C) Slander him on the forum 9 months later?
D) Realize that if you are a perfectionist it is best to buy new and return the used seat.

Rant Over!:(

Ok, and I'm sure someone as yourself who in the past has mentioned solving your online anger with guns or your fists, would
allways practice what you preached?:p

I'll bet YOU do remember what you've given and what for!! In my day!

Bringing up my name and crediting me as your nemisis in every one of your posts is nice PR... I just wish it was from a younger generation, then we could really put some fuel on the fire!:face-icon-small-hap

I love you anyways sir, would be boring around here and I'd have chosen a different sport a long time ago if it was otherwise.
