I actually did a this probably like 8 years ago. It was right about the time the REV came out. Seemed to me like the focus group was put on from Skidoo but they did not say which company was putting it on. Got my $100 for an hour or two of talking about sleds. What can be better?

Good stuff -

I did one of those market studies for Heavy Duty diesel pickup trucks about 6-7 years ago. I went in the first night with a large group (12-15), they asked a bunch of questions and paid us $200. They asked me and two others to stay afterwards and ended up doing one on one's with each of us at our homes a few days later walking around my truck asking more questions and paid me another $200.

It was pretty easy to figure out the truck manufacturer when they all arrived at my house driving three white Ford vehicles....

Yeah... the two $100 checks they gave me seemed pretty "scammy" too...

I was in the office for a total of 1:15, made $100 for each of us (Abby joined) and left.

They asked us questions about our perspective about the three companies that make snowmobiles & what we thought of their ad campaigns... pretty easy.

What surprised me was the size of the group... there were 4 in my group, and only 3 in the next, seems really small.
