Want a Nytro 2008 or 2009, need help

I want a Nytro. No doubts it will be my next sled.

Was settled on the 08 153 until the announcement of the XTX.

I was thinking of getting an XTX and putting a 16 wide 2 inch 144 on it, if it will fit. I can also narrow the ski stance with some spacers. This way I can ride at home in the deep snow of Northern Sask,and some trails, and it will also be good for the 2 trips a year I might make to the mountains. The mountain trips will most likely be spring trips.

Or should I just get the 153?

XTX.

I have a buddy here in BC who was riding a 121" Nytro for the 1st portion of the winter, with 2" paddles and mountain skis, it was ridiculous where he could go, and no one keep up with him on the trails. Now he's converted it to a 16" by 144" and it is even better in the pow. I'm so impressed that I was going to buy the MTX, but now I'm thinking about the XTX myself.... and all I do is mountain riding. The 16" by 144" has a larger footprint then the 15" x 151" track that I have on my RMK right now, and I go just fine on it.

Have Fun

Anybody know when they[Yamaha] are going annouce the rest of the 2009 sleds.I want to buy a Nytro also but I would like to know what they are going to do to this sled next year.

Thanks

I'm in northern Saskatchewan too. I got the MTX and am very pleased with it, I still would've went with the MTX even if they would've released the XTX this year. The XTX looks nice and would be a kick azz sled around here but if you make a few trips west every year I'd go with the MTX. My.02......to each their own.:beer;:beer;

Yep, and the XTX still boasts the 7.4 gal tank, with a 15x144 track....with the savings you could get on a left over (did I really refer to an '08 as a left over?) MTX, you can have a much better, cheaper ride for the rest of the season......
