Wallace ATV trails

There will still be snow up high but should be pretty good riding by then. You should do Lake Elsie out5 cemetary ridge. That's better than the wallace stuff

Every canyon up here has a mine in it. The wallace chamber has a bunch of trail maps when you pull into town or you can stop in smelterville and pick up a good forest service amp that will show you more

Are there any good campgrounds (40' toyhauler freindly) around Wallace that one can quad from right to the ATV trails then?? Would not mind exploring that area. Thanks

yes, camp spot everywhere. Not with hookups just regular north idaho camping

Thanks!

Thanks for that link Tim! We are starting a new ATV club just over the hill in western MT.Next meeting is this Sat May 16th at the O'Aces in DeBorgia.There are plans for a poker run in June(28th I think)that will run along the state line.There was a good turnout last year from the ID folks at our Poker run....hope this one is as good! :beer;:D:beer;

Maps

Thursday (14th) I stopped in Wallace and the visitors center didn't have any ATV trail maps. I loaded up on other maps/brochures then went downtown to eat lunch.I had to park around the corner from the 1313 Club and found the ATV maps in a hardware store on the corner. It was a Valu-rite store. They were $2.50.
