Wall thickness

Wells Cargo 27ft 2008. I want to install a heater, couple gear racks, etc. How thick are the walls? Are the wall studs strong enough or do you have to reinforce threw the walls. I like some of the picture I have seen and it has given me some ideas I just dont want to ruin my trailer walls. Any help or ideas would be great.

i have the 29' fun wagon and i think the walls are 1 1/4" thick, might be 1 3/8.
i doubt you would have to do anything to the walls, i have stuff screwed to the walls all over the place, shelves, hooks. my heater is under my tool box in the v nose area, so the weight is on the floor rather than hanging on the wall though.

you should be fine, if you can find one of the metal studs. plywood is usually only 3/8 so don't hang heavy stuff, without finding a stud to screw into. studs usually have screws driven through plywood, which should give some indication of were they are

the ply on my wells is just 3/16 fur i dont attach anything to 'just' the ply its about as strong as cardboard. i just use self drillers and go into the studs, some are hat channel and some i think are sq tube. they seem to vary in thickness also most are 14/16 gauge but some must be for structure and are full 1/8 inch thick or maybe two layers of thin stuff. fwiw
