Has anybody fortunate enough to have recieved their Snowchecked Pro RMK's noticed if any change was made to the rear shock as far as making it easier to turn the spring and not peeling the paint off? Just getting ready to order a Kmod for mine and I am trying to make up my mind on shocks. That was one thing I hated on my 2011 along with the calibration being off for me with or without the fatboy spring.

Not sure what you are asking??

The shock is the same on the 2012. When you were adjusting the spring... did you lift the back of the sled off the ground or put the sled on its side to take the load off the spring?

Did you have any valving changes done to the stock shocks?

Are you asking about what shocks to get for the KMOD?

I had heard last year that Polaris was going to change the spring retainer on the rear shock to make turning it easier. It is a bugger when the spring is maxed and will scrape the paint off on the shock mount. Yes I had the sled flopped over when making changes. I only installed the fatboy spring and wound up taking it out. If they did not make any changes (riders in the 275lb range with gear struggle with the valving) then I will swap them out. Just can't decide between Evol R's or the Raptors that he offers. Kmod will also rework the Walkers but I am not sure if it is worth the hassle. Shipping them there and back will be about $350.00 for me as i refuse to use the mail service.
