Walker evans rebuild?

I just purchased a used 08-D7. Have not had WE in the past. When you take your sled into the dealership for servicing, do they service the Walker Evans Shocks or do I need to send those out to some place else?
Also, what needs to be done to the shocks each yr? Re-charge, Re-build, etc?

Can I do it myself? Is it a difficult job that needs special tools?

i have two dragons with the w/e shocks....wifes' 08 700 and my 09 800...dealer does the recharging, so far on warranty....dealer rebuilt 800 shock at 650 miles....as soon as the warranty on the sleds runs out, i'm getting rid of the w/e shocks....shouldn't have to have them recharged twice a year, and rebuilt also...i'll decide what to replace them with when i have to, but i think the w/e shocks are a real drawback to a good sled...

every 800 to 1000 miles.. Oil, seal, charge

If not very hard on them... every 1200 miles.

At the beginning of each season for the recharge regardless.

Make sure to run cover boots... warranty does not cover damaged seals from damaged shafts.

Does the dealer do this service or do I need to send to W/E?

Some dealers can service them in house, some send them out locally for service, some send them back to Walker Evans, and some send them off to places like Carls. You need to ask your dealer to see how they can/cannot help you.
