Just got back from a trip to Waldon Col, Stayed with Dave at the North Park Inn. Man we hit eppic snow and the riding was some of the best in my 58 yrs. Also the people of that area are so freindly toward sleders its just great, they stop u and ask where your going and tell u to try this and that spot it's just a wonderfull place. Dave kind of saved us by answering a cell call and instructing us on how to find our way out of a blizzard.
Do they have snow. Right now u can't get to the parking lot at buffalo pass so u park on the side of the road. do they have snow, a man that has lived there for years flagged us down and asked us to call the sherriff cus he was snowed in and out of food and fuel and had used all his cell minutes. They got 2 ft the first nite then 4 to 5 the next then another few our last ride and it is a terrifc riding area not so much shute climbing but alot of boondocking and climbing meadows, just do yourself a favor and get there

Yup, snow was epic. Friday the fresh on the trails were level with headlights. Once you jumped off into the meadows it was like a submarine and you couldnt even hear your sled running while it was rapped out.

Anyone that goes to Walden I would also recommend Dave at North Park Inn.

All in all an unbelievable few days of riding with team extreme sd @ buffalo pass. To bad I had to break a bolt in rear suspension on friday in the epic snow:face-icon-small-win

I still don't think that bolt was broke ,I'm bettin u just got stuck alot on your own, Ha Ha
