Brand new race organization this year from the ground up.

XMR (Extreme Mountain Racing) Snow -X
Where: Walden Reservoir in WALDEN, CO
When: Jan 12th-13th, Racing starts at 9:30
Admission: $5/per person; 12 and under Free
Concessions: Available at race site

No more drags in Walden this year?

Is the new group going to have any at all?

XMR is not going to be sanctioning the drags but if the individual clubs want to take the insurance and host it they can. We thought that if we get a lot of people who what to race then we will get the extra insurance and have drags at our March Snow X. It cost the club a lot and if there is not a lot of interest then it wouldn't be worth it.

Thought I would share a few photos from the Snow-X event. The initial races held the weekend of 1/12-1/13 was a great success. We're looking forward to the next event, which will be held the weekend of March 1-2. Hope to see a lot of you out there!

Been going through Walden quite a bit lately- had no idea something like this would be going on there.

Would be more fun, I think, if it was being held down by Steamboat.

This post has been out there for a while so just a reminder to everyone that the second SnowX is happening this Saturday starting at 9:30 and again on Sunday. I hope to see allot of people out there. The weather is sopposed to be great on Saturday so it should be a great weekend of racing.
