for a poo guy you need to get out more----they were bread for fighting and were nearly destroyed by the Germans in WW2--there are only 3000 left in the world today---the different stances they have when they are on there back feet are for rider protection and for striking out at there opponents..they have been trained for this since 400 BC..takes about 9 yrs to train them for the show

I saw them up close and personal when I was a boy..my grandfather knew somebody important...do they still take your breath T/A? what awesome horses..If you ever get the chance to see them...take it...mike

yes..all black or brown at birth..turn all white by 6-8 yrs I think..
ta looks like your memorial weekend was like mine, tryed 4 wheelin in the mtns for a couple days, gettin wet and cold gets old after 2 days, good ridin though, no dust made some climbs interesting,

I got to see them when I was a little girl...I would love to see them again, they're just beautiful...and its amazing to watch them move. I bet your grand daughter was on cloud 9!
she said it was her best birthday ever--
I went and saw them last year in Great Falls MT. Great show.
