Snowmobile Program fundraiser STARTS NOW!
Yes, the State Parks’ managed Snowmobile Program is underfunded.
While the WA St. Snowmobile Assoc., WSSA, will pursue legislation
to increase Program funding,we won’t see additional funds arrive until
the 2014/2015 season. That’s two seasons away!
What to do for this season?...Raise money ourselves!
WSSA passed a resolution at the Summer Meeting promising to donate up to
$25,000 to the Fund this season. The catch? It’s a matching deal. WE match
YOUR dollars. Send WSSA $5 (marked for the Snowmobile Program) and we’ll
add $5 and send $10 to State Parks. You send us $50, we’ll match and send
State Parks $100. Send $100, the Program receives $200. Pretty sweet right?!
*All monies received/matched will go strait to the program as State Parks see fit
to utilize in areas most needed. This includes grooming, plowing/removal and
sanitation. None of the donated funds will go to any "Administrative Cost",
as it has already been funded for the season.
Please note these donations are not tax deductible.
Send your donation to:
WSSA Treasurer
Fred Pitzer
P.O. Box 668
Yakima, WA 98907
And don’t forget to start fundraising for the 2013/2014 season! WSSA
hasn’t yet authorized a match for next season, but I can tell you how to do it
now… Register ALL of your snowmobiles this season.
