So I have been doing a bunch more testing of our Suspension Coupler. I have had my rear skid shock in and out a couple times and have also been moving the rear suspension through the full stroke without the spring on the shock. What I found did worry me some. When I purposely bottomed the rear suspension the shock actually bottomed before the rail bump stops came close. There was nearly an inch to go before the rail stops would hit. If you are not bottoming this is not a problem but I was experimenting and ran my spring pretty loose and the next ride my shock rubber spit out between the coils. I have since redesigned a little. I took a 2" rubber roller and drilled the center out to 1" Then cut 2 pieces to 1.5" and put them on the swing arm tube. They will engage the bump stops earlier.
I can't be the only one who has this problem??
And no, nothing is bent, it is just the angle of the picture.
