I have a question for the electrical gurus on here. Has anyone tried to install a fuse, circuit breaker, or fuseable link after the vr? I was pondering this as I was getting my 08 D8 towed out behind a Cat. I figured even if the vr went out, it would blow the fuse before frying other things on the sled. I was going to carry an extra vr with me, but it does no good if the voltage spike takes out the computer. Thanks for reading this, and any input would be great.
