Has anyone tried it I know it's expensive at 15.60 a gal just wondering if it helps the bike not run so rich when not running a fuel controler

That's about $12 more per gallon than premium! You would be money ahead after 6-7 rides to just buy a Dobeck for $375. The Dobeck will fix your over-fueling problems, race gas will not.

When MXA Magazine did the test on the 13 KTM 450 SXF they said:

"As a test we bolted a two-meter-max legal aftermarket exhaust system onto the 2013 KTM 450SXF and reached 60 horsepower on the dyno. That means that with oxygenated MR-12 VP fuel and aftermarket pipe this bike could pump out close to 63 horsepower."

Seems awfully expensive for a 3HP gain. That fuel is SOOOO expensive. Sure, if you running a race and only need a gallon or two it's understandable... but running 4-5gal twice a week would just be way too much. Might as well add NOS at that point.

As teal pointed out, the Dobeck would be a much better alternative. If you are a numbers nerd like myself it's nice to know exactly what AFR you are running at any given time.

There is no better way to burn money! I do! It does improve throttle response but the horsepower gains are not noticeable in snow. Dirt is a different story though. It smells awesome and all your buddy's will want to follow you. The crappy part is you have to drain your tanks if its going to sit more than a few days unless you have a aluminum gas tank. I would look at a controller first if your worried about budget.
