Had some time to kill on Saturday while my brake controller was being replaced.

Looked at the Voltage toy haulers.

HOLY CRAP!!!!

The 4 models they had ranged from 32' to 40'.

Triple axle on the 36 to 40' units.
46" flat screens, dual fuel cells, fireplaces, slide out kitchens with breakfast bars, sleeps up to 8, exterior kitchen, 1/2 bath in the cargo bay, french or sliding glass doors into cargo bay. 14' cargo bay on the 40' unit (for hauling SLEDS!!), Dirty Devil central air vacum system, and the list goes ON AND ON!!!!

They are totally insane. The 40'er topped out at an MSRP of $107k!!!

I remember when the Raptors (Keystone??) were going for $75-$80k a few years ago and almost passed out. Never thought I would see them top $100k though. Motorhomes/Toterhomes definitely, but not trailers. They have a few rigs around here that I wouldn't mind 'investing' in if I matched those elusive powerball numbers. I'm not sure you would even feel like you were roughing it at all with one of those.

It is nice to see that they are taking into account the need for bigger garage areas these days. They used to have 38' toy haulers that would sleep 8 and the garage was only big enough for 2 quads and gear. Dirt bikes are easier to pack in I guess, but still... I had to laugh this year watching a fully loaded DMax hauling at least a 38' hauler and he had another trailer behind that with more machines. IMO if I'm pulling a trailer that big I want ALL my stuff in one place. (Not to mention he was probably insanely over GCVW).

I saw one rollin down the highway in northern Ontario last week. The thing was massive. When I got home I goggled voltage trailers wow. Noticed they didn't list the price on their website I guess if you have to ask you can't afford

the full monte rapter is better, way better, i just bought a new toy hauler...****in expensive and near the price of a cabin but i figured im still too young to settle with a cabin, id rather be mobile for a few more years

Pretty soon you'll be required to use a Kenworth to pull one at that length... or at least a CDL for the weight:eek:

I don't mind pulling a trailer that puts the whole rig 45 ft long or so, but a 45 ft trailer would put you almost 65ft long:face-icon-small-sho
