Vmax Suspension??

Has anyone ever tried to Enhance or modify the pogo sticks on the Vmax's?? I like my sled but am a pretty aggressive rider and i dont feel like it gives me enough travel up front. I would love to hear of successful and failed attempts. Thank you very much

Ok i will look into that. But what about the skid? Its an ST so i already have the 136" But i was wondering if i could put something comparable to and M-10 or M-12 from polaris?? I dont want to get rid of the sled but i think i can upgrade it to my riding style for less than a newer sled. So if anyone wants to comment or just e-mail me i would love it thanks!!!

yamaha made some gytr front struts that were adjustable that worked great compared to the stock ones. you could adjust the dampening on them. if you could find a set of those it would make a difference. there was a set on e-bay earlier this year. also take apart the steering linkage and grease everything, that lets them move freely.

M-10 will work or the rear suspension out of a 1996 XT will ride like a dream as well. Just need to add rail extension for 136. The front struts on the 96 are the GYT struts attak06 speaks of,

Me too!

I have a V-Max ST as well. They stopped making ST's in 1995 so if yours is an ST it is either a 1995 or 1994. My front and rear suspension is dead. Getting replacement parts for a rig this old is like pulling teeth. Just to confirm, the Polaris M10 will fit the 1995 V-max ST (136")?

Yeah its a 136" Thanks i might look into that but at the same time i dont know if i wanna put the money into it either you know?? I think Im just gonna sell it as is. Thanks anyways guys
