Trying to help a buddy and I am not finding much info on this.

Does anyone know the spring rate on the front track shock on the new viper? Anyone going to a different spring?
Any help would be greatly appreciated!

wow surprised stingray is not all over this. there is another thread on here talking about the fact the 110 pound spring on the MTX is too light and causes a lot of ski pressure. It has been discussed that an 160 lbs spring helps a bunch. It was also mentioned in the same conversation that the reason behind the lighter spring was to allow the suspension to climb onto the snow quicker. so who knows :face-icon-small-ton

The stiffer spring that stingray mentions is a decent low cost alternative, IMO a shock with compression damping is a better solution but much more $$$ stock spring is 110lbs I believe
