We got our Helemt cam and wanted to try it out. Here are a few videos of what the day was like. We have much more footage than can be posted.
Good powder, bright sunny day, and nobody else in sight.

PS If you know where this is at great, if not we would like to keep it that way. You know its one of our secret spots that nobody else goes to. I'll just say its somewhere south of Salt lake City.

Oh yes! I remember those places very well. Especially the hill on the second video as you might remember from my video on YouTube. I guess I could have used a turboed sled at that time. I have upgraded my sled though. I wish I could have been up there last weekend but I'm coming up this weekend. I'm hoping for a little new snow Friday and Saturday. Looked like fun! BTW, how much did you have to spend on the camera setup?

You know I actually thought of that video as i was climbing up that hill on saturday.

The camera was $350 because we got the extra battery, 2 gig sd card, and wall charger. It is usually $300 without the extra stuff. The normal package comes with a helmet mount, 1 gig sd card and 1 battery, and a usb cord to charge and download to the computer.

What we did is put some velcro on each helmet and then another piece on the helmet mount so we can trade the camera to differnt helemts. Radio shack carries the industrial strength velco that we use 1" wide by 3" long.

We should be up there again this weekend too. (I hope) The snow is finally good enough to actually ride now. Looks like a storm should be coming in thursday night too.

It says you should be able to get 50 minutes per gig.
