Video: Togwotee gets new Tucker Snow Cats.

They have a fleet of rental sleds there right? Must have a hell of a pole barn/shop to store and maintain the Tuckers and the sleds or no? Just curious right now I'M pricing barn packages and have been looking at some awesome set-ups here on the net. 40 degrees and rain here in good ol' southern Mich.

I don't know Snowizard, Trails won't like that video showing that the blade really was put on there to roll snow with. I think they thought they were built just to fend off ornery moose. Thanks Wolf

Well, I'll know in about 5 weeks how they are doing. By "Trails" I think you mean the state of WY trails dept.
Yes, with the pusher blade, I recall last seasons warnings to the drivers.

When not pushing snow around our trails here, we always run with it in the full up position, so some out of control oncoming rider goes under the machine, not through the windshield. Not a pleasant thought, but it has happened.

I sure wish they would use them, now that they got them. That trail is absolutley painfull within about 6 miles of the lodge. Everybody around the lodge today was mad at the trail conditions. I'm glad to see our registration dollars just sitting there looking pretty behind the Togwotee shop.

Last year both Wolfrun and myself, plus tour operators , and individual riders alike, wrote letters (not email) to the Lodge management, and the Wyoming bureau responsible for trail upkeep, and we got a lot of fancy excuses and stonewalling in replies.

The Tog Lodge holds the grooming contract for their area, and they are responsible to the state of WY to get the work done. Dunno what they're thinking. :face-icon-small-dis

The trails south, in the Line Shack & Crooked Creek areas are very well maintained, because there is a different contractor grooming that area. So the problem lies with the Lodge. Maybe they would like to explain themselves.

Guess we owe them a brief benefit of doubt, maybe they will get their act together soon, I hope.
I'm going to be there a whole week in late January, sure hope it's better than last year, otherwise I won't be going back there again.
