Video of TD modded M1100T in the mountain along with turbo upgraded sleds

We had a lot of fun testing with Cat Shack in Chetwynd BC.
Thanks for the hospitality and the guide tour in the mountains as well as providing the sleds for us to test with ! :bc:

We made some improvements to the 4 stage tunes and 3 stage tunes for the mountain. We also worked on keeping power more linear as the sleds climbed in altitude.
We also tested hardware available for these sleds.

We saw a huge difference in air temps with intercooler fans (very worth it mod) and the Torco accelerator octane booster flat out works great. These mountain sleds require more octane than the typical trail sled because of higher intercooler temps and therefore, higher intake temps.

Here's a video showing a little of the testing...

That was great!

I have mine working great with the 3" TD exhaust, Hi-jacker and a ton of other mods. I'm looking to do a tune! Nice to know the TD programs work good here at home! I'm looking forward to seeing these TD machines on the hills in the Pass.

Thanks Brendan ! It was fun testing with you guys.

I would like to know why you posted a video of a EVO turbo upgraded sled with your tuning? Your tuning is not optimized for the EVO turbo, do you have hundreds of hours tuning to that EVO stock turbo upgrade. I am sure there will be some fires back from the Evolution on this.

We have tunes for every type of turbo out there:

Stock, D&D mod stock, Turbine Tech turbo upgrade, now EVO turbo upgrade, GT2860R, GT2871R, GT3071R, Precision 5130, Precision 5830, GT3076R etc....
The smaller turbos and same size turbo upgrades have very similar timing and fuel maps, not much had to be done to make them optimized specifically.

Our tunes are in big demand, so any time we tune for a competitor's turbo, it will help them sell more Turbo Upgrades and more upgrade parts as well. Evo has some nice stuff. We just added the TD functionality, safety and TD tunes to their great products. We tested both tunes btw. But I'm not here to say which one is best. What I can say is that we offer a lot of features in our tunes, which some customers will enjoy.

Ben. . . Are you a paid advertiser? I would imagine not without looking as your a basic member. I suggest you either become a paid advertiser or I will be forced to move your posts in which you are PROMOTING your product to the classifieds.

We are on every site we promote on, I see we have not set up yet with Snowest.

We will become paid advertiser right away.

Thanks,

Ben

Please contact Christopher on here and he can get that taken care of for you. Also please ask review the rules of a paid advertiser as well. You will still have to follow the rules.

what kind of horsepower are you seeing with your ecu flashes? Also what octane of fuel for what stage? Any difference in hp/octane with the turbine tech turbo upgrade? Thanks

The turbine tech upgrade requires a little less octane for the same power level because of higher efficiency and colder air charge. Maybe 15 HP extra on the same Octane. With AV gas or race fuel that turbo is capable of a lot more gain vs the stocker.

For the moutain sleds it is clear the octane requirement is higher than the typical trail sled at low altitude. High load and lower ground speed. So we like running 91 + half a can of Torco accelerator for best results and higher max power on pump gas. This allows us to run our Max 94 program on 91 octane fuel on a long pull.
