Video editing software

For either the GoPro or Contour, what editing software will give you the best bang for the buck? And user friendly too, as I don't have alot of time, what with the wife, kids and work and of course riding sleds and bikes year round.

A buddy and I split Sony Vegas Pro 10 and really like it a lot. We both are still learning a lot every time we make a video. The price tag is a little high but now we see why, you name it you can do it in Vegas Pro 10. Neither of us had any experience or knowledge of video editing until last year. I use Powerdirector. I think it was 30 or 50 bucks to download. I really like the program.

I bought Pinnacle Studio 14 & it works fine for me. Pretty simple to me, but I'm pretty sure there are more powerful ones out there.

Agreed. but that only works on Macs. Tried the trail version of AP CS4 and got lost pretty quick. My next personal computer will be a mac, its the only way to go for professional editing.

Windows Movie Maker 2011 BABY! FREE! AWWWWW YEAAAAAAAA....

The free option is good to get your feet wet and learn the basics of video composition, but everyone else is correct about needing something to do more. Sony Vegas is pretty sweet if you can buy it.
