just finished the quincy grass drag video. watch about half way through,my buddies track let loose on the jackstand! thank god for the blast plate installed on top of the tunnel!

heres the aftermath, theres a reason these plates are mandated per ISR rules! let this be a lesson learned for everybody that runs studs!!!!

I'm bummed I ended up missing the event. It looks like the infield of the race track was a much better area to hold the drags vs. the front lawn area where they did it last year.

My guys and I laid the sod for the infield there at the fairgrounds back in 2004. After all the money they sunk into the job I never would have thought they would let the sleds run on it.

Just a reminder these things with or without studs can kill. Anybody remember the guys young daughter killed in his garage after a track failure? Keep those runout areas behind these things clear.

wow,never heard that story j dub and I got real lucky being as close as we were but MAN am I glad I left it running on the tripod when it happened! bet your *** ill never lift a bumper for a buddy to clear there track again...
