anyone running these on a 2015 model. Just wondering if they need a fuel controller or not and how they are working.

You can run them just fine without any fuel controller but you reed petal life will only be 1/2 of stock if your lucky. As you probably know pulling reeds on these pro motors is a royal PITA.

I just put reeds in my pro, it is actually not bad, if you have worked on a iq it is very easy compared to that. From my experience also it will run richer.

The 3R reeds are supposed to have longer lifespan since it is the rubberized reed blocks, these are what is supposed to me coming on the Axys PRO RMKs.

Anyone have enough experience with them yet to confirm or deny claims?

Tempted to go with these on my 860 CFI but I don't know if I would gain enough to be worth it. Currently stock cages with what I believe are carbon tech reeds (whatever Carls put in them at the time it was built for the former owner).

Who built your 860? Carl's Cycle is recommending AGAINST the 3Rs... peddle life and consistency of running is quite a bit worse than stock. Note, the aftermarket 3Rs are different than the stock AXYS reeds. I haven't heard of anyone having issues with the AXYS sleds' reeds, but buying the aftermarket version for say a 2015RMK has issues.
