Verizon purchases Alltell

Guess I'll stop thinking about switching from Verizon to Alltell.

I think it will only help reception. Around here there are mostly Alltell towers and I've got Verizon and unless I can squeeze into an empty slot on the Alltell tower I'm stuck searching. Verizon told me they had no plans to upgrade our area for at least the next 6 months. So if all these Alltell towers now become Verizon tower it should be a good deal??? Yes/no?

Hey Mafesto, think we will have more lawsuits within Nascar similar to the Cingular/AT&T Burton deal we saw last year? Newman with a Verizon car might make him run faster huh? LOL

I thought of the same thing when I read it for the first time.

It still makes me mad....Nextel (series sponsor) can change name to Sprint,
but Cingular (car sponsor) was not allowed new name or logo.....WTF???

I will NEVER have Sprint just because of that ordeal.
