Im back and alive with the 900 club. Just picked up another 900 to add to my engineless 900. Got a question about vents. Does vents on clutch side allow powder to get in and get the clutch wet thus allowing belt slippage?

I've never had a problem with my SLP vents... but they have pre-filter on them to prevent any dust from getting in.

I have the Holz vents on one sled and SLP on others never had any problems. Mountain Fit hood has the best prices on vents.

I ran mountain Fit Hoods venting on my side panels and hood, no snow gets past the vent on the clutch side, they add an extra layer of prefilter on that side.

I run frogskinz on mine no issue with snow at all.

I had Fire N Ice vents on my Assault. If i pulled it over in some deep powder on the clutch side, it would slip. I eventually put heat tape over the vent opening
