My tankbag Velcro worked great for about a season, then something magical happened to the snow I dove my sled into cause suddenly the Velcro rips off, no matter what substance I try to use to bond it.. Anyone got any suggestions on keeping Velcro attached to a nice rough plastic tank surface?

Start over with some good industrial grade velcro, you can buy it at lowes in the hardware isle. Clean the plastic good with something like rubbing alcohol. Then warm the platic with a heat gun or hair dryer. apply the velcro in one motion, do not lift it back up to move it. Get it applied and firmly rub and hold it in place. Let it cool and leave it sit for a good 24-48 hours.

The last tip is try not to unhook the velcro when its really cold outside or its been sitting in the cold trailer all night, thats when it tends to lift off the plastic. Eric

suggestion:

when bag falls off, just throw it in your buddies gunch box..

Right on, thanks for the tip Eric. I got some industrial stuff last winter but came off pretty quick. I'll try the heat gun. Worse case scenario there's always Lushbombs seat.
