A friend asked me to look into deals for going to Vegas for the race. I'm looking for suggestions on sites to look at. I haven't done this before.

It is cheaper to buy the inside the track package and rent a MH--then you are in the thick of it--72 hour party--LOL

I have been getting a mailing from the Orleans Casino groups which have been really good promotions for rooms and race tickets. Check with them I think the deal was race tickets plus room and transportation for 1200.00 for 2 people.
I my self will be camped in the in-field!!!!!!! Only an 8 hour drive see ya there.

I have 2 tickets with excellent seats that I need to sell. I'll let you have them for BELOW what I paid. The only other thing you'll need to get is the room.
If you are really looking for a deal, stay in Mesquite (sp?) and drive in. It is a bit further mileage wize, but it's 4x as fast because you aren't fighting the traffic to the strip. Let me know if you are interested.

Not a chance... I drove mine down last year and stayed in the infield..... Betwen the passes they make you buy and the 3 day minimum... it's over 2k. Then factor in renting a motorhome.....

SuperCross? yea right..... Best Nascar Event ever in Vegas I actually missed the race along with my flight home! But my afternoon at the Hard Rock pool was a pretty decent alternative (sunday is all casino employee appreciation day at the hard rock pool and so the scenery is well......A $HIT LOAD BETTER THEN A NASCAR RACE!) You guys should do REHAB...kind of psydo casino induced legalized hookerism thrown on ya but instead of layed you get a HUGE BAR TAB! weeeeeeeeeeeeeee

We do alot of "time" in Vegas. If you aren't renting a sweet private pad while you are there the Venetian is #1! A couple weeks in a suite at the RIO wasn't terrible but it ain't even close to the Venetian.

if you could find a helicopter for $90 to the race I would love to know where last year when i took it it was $300 per person and i'm going this year and would take one if it was only $90
It is quicker to get TO the rqace but longer getting back. They divert all 4 lanes to go southbound by the track.
No, no, no. You have to park just east of the track and then you have smooth sailing all the way to the interstate and on to Mesquite. We even stayed in St. George and could be to our place there (Mom and Dad's house) quicker than those trying to get from the track to the strip!! (And the cars were all going over 90mph all the way!)

Oh, BTW I have 2 tickets left for sale! They are for the Ernhardt Terrace (a little spendy, but comfy and GREAT seats). I have all 3 days for both seats and I spent $257 + handling on each of them. Make me an offer - I'd rather sit by sledders anyway!!!

that is the type of information that 5 of my buddies missed out on when they stayed in Mesquite. They stayed there to avoid the madness and got caught in the traffic anyway. wait till I'll tell them this...

Did this include your fuel going down and back?? I am confused at that price.
I went down with some friends in 05 and paid $600 for 4 days in the infield and tickets for 6 people in the infield with all passes. Now if I added fuel to--It would be getting there--LOL
