Vector oil tank and cooling lines

Working on the T-vec custom build and I have a couple questions. Want to get rid of the little metal valve that would be between the tank and the airbox on a stock vector. Can i remove it? What is it's purpose? And just add a overflow can with a return to the crankcase and a breather?

Also what coolant lines should I use for my cooling to the turbo?

it is a check valve if i remember right i asked a couple yammi gurus they said leave it there or you could have problems something about the motor being able to revers the oil flow.as for coolant line get the silicone stuff summit calls it twist tight not sure what its real name is but its great stuff.http://www.summitracing.com/parts/SUM-220783/?image=large

looks good. where in the engine cooling system should i get the coolant from?

Coolant? why do u need coolant to cool your turbo? usually they use engine oil off the pump.

you come from the clutch side of the oil cooler then go back in on the clutch side just above the stub shaft you will have a 1/2 or 3/8nipple there to tie the system together.i can find you some pics if you need it.

Coolant cooled turbos will last 3 times longer than just oil as cooling/lub
