I am currently am working on converting my Vector into a mid mount. Just wondering what size of charge tube would work the best. What would be the advantages to different sizes?
For reference to give an idea of the setup. Short tube header, HKS gt2530 turbo(gt2860r), Boondocker intercooler, water/Meth Injection.
What would be the advantages to different sizes, would a 2 inch Id flow better but effect off idle or off and on throttle response? Just want to know what a happy medium is. I would assume that it is best to use the smallest charge tube possible the doesn't restrict flow. As to keep the charge area volume low?
Hopefully some pros and cons can be layed out?
