Anybody had this happen? I pulled my 06 900 IQ out of enclosed trailer last week, which was actually stored indoors in a dry airplane hanger. I attempted to start it and drive it out, but it would fire and die, and eventually it wouldn't even fire. After investigating to see if I had spark, and noticing the plugs seemed awful dry, I opened the fuel cap and peered inside to find the tank not just empty, but dry.
I have an inline trailer and had the rear of this sled propped up a little higher so I could squeez in 5 sleds instead of 4. Is it possible that the fuel started dripping out the vent and eventually siphoned out completely? I do recall that when I put the sled up for the summer it was low on fuel, but not empty, as I drove it in the trailer after cleaning it up and lubing the suspension etc. This sled doesn't have a fuel shut-off valve. Also, I'm in and out of this hanger pretty frequently and I never did smell excessive fuel fumes.
Anyone ever had a similar experienc?
