I painted and installed my new bumper on thursday and rode it on rabbit ears today, it was nice. cleared snow out way better than stock and stiffens tunnel and is stronger that hell. 6" of room between tunnel and sits up another 4-5" taller that stock. It looks awesome too. best $160 one part non performance buy yet.

Thanks for sharing. I've looking for a way to get rid of the plastic crap my '08 has on it. Looks like I need to look into VE.

i got so much time in this sled and i really recomend this bumper. its a great improvement over stock

why do i see natural alum in the windows?.....surely you would think this bumper is a wrap like idea like the boondock rear tunnel they sell?

and it looks like you did not use all the needed rivets at the joint area

it is extremely strong, the gunmetal color in the windows is paint. beneath the stock bumper the black was non existant, so instead of matching the black tunnel i went silver so you could see that it was a different bumper. i didnt use all the rivets cause it was not needed, i machined the back out of the bumper to clear 5 rivets stock so it would still sit flush
