Value of a Timbersled LT kit

I have a sled for sale locally and someone is interested in trading a 2015 Timbersled LT kit for it with some cash but I think he is valuing it a little to much. Are there big differences between the 15's and the 16/17's? I don't mind running an LT kit in fact I think it is more suitable for the riding I would be doing. Just seeing what you guys think an approximate trade value is on one of these kits

You might think he is valuing it high, but if you are trading that M8 in your sig you have to remember that most people, me included, wouldn't give $3500 tops for that thing. It's old and way outdated. If he is offering any cash at all to you on top of it I would take it and run.

I see you live out West, I'm from the east and totally agree that an M8 wouldn't bring a cent over 3000$ in any Rocky Mountain state. However the mountain sled prices are significantly higher in the New England states. In fact its becoming a business practice for some western dealers to ship their used mountain sleds to north east for resale. Not to mention the sled did just role 1700 miles and doesn't have a scratch on it. Right now doing a search of local classifieds my sled is the lowest mileage and isn't much more/if not the same price and machines with 3-5000miles. So I really don't feel like trading unless I know its a smart decision
