Folks,
We spent a fantastic Saturday at Vail pass in powder up to our waist. The trail conditions where smooth and untouched (for the most part). Please watch for the stumps and the boulders as you venture into the fields. The Park Service had yet to allow us back into the bowls but it should be open Monday if the flakes keep flying.
There are some areas where the snow was comming over the top of the windshield making the powder dips mind numbing. My friend from the U.K. had never seen snow conditions like this in his life.
