Vail pass fees at Redcliff?

What do you do if you access from the Redcliff side?


Are the fees just for the I-70 parking lot?

Although there may not be a toll booth with workers accepting payments, it is my understanding that anyone accessing the Vail Recreational Area on foot or on machine must pay. Keep in mind that the rangers do take their sleds out into the area to check riders registration & park payments.

There is actually a fee box at the lower Lime Creek turnoff from the Red Cliff side. Same thing at Camp Hale. They expect you to have a tag if you get stopped. You can also buy them at Nova Guides in Camp Hale.

Think fees are 6 bucks a day, or can buy a yearly pass?

Season pass costs $40,picked one up at forest service office in Silverthorne today.You can buy one from V/P booth when staffed or fill out form and drop in box,they'll mail it to you.Cash or check no credit cards.
