There is no snow left at vail pass. I shredded all the powder yesterday. We rode from 7:30 till 5:30.

Rode yesterday coverage was good.
Base is solid so go anywhere conditions.Was riding with my little niece so didn't stray too far off trail.It was warm so the untracked will be mashed potato's today.

Complaining about the Vail Task Force and Forest Service peeps is one thing, but you keep going back. If it is so bad, why not find a better place to ride? Your true colors are shown in your posts.

Your right. I go back because it snows a lot there and there are a lot of awesome snowboard runs.
$275 is ridicoulous, and the ranger i talked to was a tool.

No, you should stay out of the area that got you the ticket. I don't agree with all the rules up there either, but if I cross the line and get a ticket, it's my own fault. You have to account for your own actions.
You will find it's pointless to reason with this child. But go easy on him, he's probably only 12.

Duh! It was my first time ever in the area. $275 is crazy, and that ranger is a tool! A warning would have been enough to let me know not to go back. Accidents happen and $275 is bull****.

OK . Lets get back on thread here. I drove up yeterday and had good coverage , snows gettin dirty, problably a couple weeks left at least. To bad im at DIA flying back to the city. Shreed it up while you got it cuase where Im going , we aint got it. In fact I heard it said, " When you start to mow ,we still got snow !" , and my grass is problably 10". Either way have at cuase when I move out here Im gonna track it all up..
I agree, but obviously there is a good reason to talk about this. I'm so tired of hearing how bad snowmobilers are up on Vail Pass.
