Vail Pass - 02 March 2008

That wasn't THE MIGHTY lot lizard. It was his smaller cousin ;) You know, the best snow is in the creek beds!

Until today I thought Captain Nick was the mountain slayer on his flying Dragon 800.

Now I see the truth..............just another stuck snosnake in a stuckfest:(;)

Looks like great snow. Nice pics Mule!:beer;

Hey The Mighty Lot lizzard never got stuck and troy i'm still the mountain slayer LOL.:face-icon-small-hap

Trust me when i say Nick did not pass up Mangos.

Looks like it was fantastic snow. We were out there last year in Feb. and caught it at a time when there was very little fresh snow. Lots of the play areas to the east of Redcliff were used up. Found some good tree riding and made it out one day to the "red trail"?, or something along those lines. It was right north of Vail. We've got a buddy that lives in Redcliff, nice place. Maybe next time we'll be a little luckier with the snow.

This "Mango's" sounds great. There is'nt a gas station in Redcliff how do you get home? Cory, does your sled run on nitrous alone?

RedCliff is only 14 miles from exit 190 on I-70. You can take shrine pass road directly to redcliff. We typicaly use lime creek to add some excitment to the ride.

I have run the sled on NOS alone and would not recomend it. The first 6 feet will cost you about $3k.
