Watching Sport Center right now....the douche thinks he can play NFL football!!! I hope some team invites the arrogant douche to their training camp and hammer the arrogant pretty boy and wipe that arrogant smirk right off his douche bag face!

he didnt even bring the subject up, sportscenter asked Kobe what position he would play if he were to play football, he simply answered there questions. He then went on to say that he feels that he would do well in the NFL because of his athletic ability and I think he has earned the right to talk big of himself.

Agreed. Most athletes can usually excel in multiple sports. People slammed on Jordan for his baseball attempt, but he still put up decent numbers. Nothing that would make him an All-star but better than probably 95% of the population.
.202 average with 3 HR, 51 RBI, 30 SB

For some reason I have seen more than one basketball player asked recently what position they would play in football.

Yes I know they brought it up....and yes he does plenty regarding talking big of himself! ....and MileHigh, you think a 202 average is decent!? haha! I would have loved to face him often as a pitcher! LMAO

....and thousands of college baseball players would have kicked his a$$ in numbers, but never got the chance because they were never drafted. But, because he is Michael Jordan they let him waltz right in because of who he is...not because he has earned the opportunity to play pro baseball! BULLCHIT!

Yeah decent when hitting against minor league talent. I bet you couldn't make contact in 10 pitches. Not get a hit, but make CONTACT (foul ball). Hitting a major league baseball is probably one the hardest things in all of sports to do. If you can hit .300 you are doing pretty good, yet you are still failing 6 times out of 10.

Jordan is the greatest basketball player to ever play the game and voted the #1 athlete of all time, I think he "earned" his chance to play some minor league ball. Hate on him all you want but he still didn't better than anyone on this forum could do and he played as good as the majority of all minor league players. He was not big league material but maybe 0.005% of all people are.

Again, you take any top athlete and let them play almost any sport and they will do alright, natural talent cannot be taught or learned.

Starting to think that you fantasize of having man love with these overpaid criminals and rapists.

Call up his ex-wife, she doesn't speak too highly of him. Nice to see that you didn't deny the rest, didn't think you would.

Yeah, I have her number on speed dial. Have you ever heard anyone's ex-wife speak highly of them, LOL.

Deny what? Man love? LOL what do you want me to play a stupid game with you? Yes you are, no I'm not, yes you are, no I'm not.....

You know that saying, those who are homophobes tend to well bat for the other team.... it comes to mind in this situation.

I have no doubt I would have given Jordan a run for his money! ...and I guarantee any college player on this forum would have too! Thousands of young talented players deserved to be there! NOT HIM! I don't hate him...I am tired of entitlement because someone did this or that! Because someone is good at one thing doesn't mean they should get a free pass above someone else that has worked hard and earned that right!

Kobe didnt bring it up and he is more than half joking all throughout while answering the question.

I think Kobe would have done well in football if he had played it rather than basketball. He has great size, lateral quickness, huge vertical for his height, and freakish body control. Not sure about his speed but in a possesion or jump ball situation he would be hard to stop.

He also has something that cant be taught or learned, he is a competitor with heart and desire coupled with his athletic talent. He would do well at whatever he set his mind to. Lebron has even more freakish athletic skills but is soft when it comes to heart and desire so I dont see him accelling once the going gets tough and he is forced to will himself to do something. Look at how he played last night with Kobe guarding him all night. He backs down when pressed, Kobe gets pissed and looks to destroy the other guy, big difference.

Great Comeback.

Do you like to stick up for liberals, criminals, overpaid-uneducated sports stars just for the sake of arguing, or do you really admire these people and ideals?

I realize you are a liberal and therefore real numbers can be manipulated however you want, but if you bat .300 aren't you failing 7 times out of ten?:D

i guess LeBorn James can play NFL as in WR like he played in high school. but he choose to go to NBA than going to NFL

Do you know that he was recruited by nearly every college in the country to play football out of high school? If the NBA had some age restrictions, his story could be very different.
This isn't too much of a stretch.
Look at Bo an Dion .... different sports, but major talent is still major tallent.

Tony Gonzales was a basketball player before he took up football. I don't think Kobe is too far off. I think that might be the one sport that basketball guys could potentially excell at.
