Subject basically says it all:
I have a sled that I got a good deal on and am passing it onto the next buyer. and also to hopefully sell before winter ends. The good, great sled that runs well, only 950 miles and perfect compression. thousands invested. Great for hill climbing or a racer. Good to all mountain riding but will need some slight tweaking to ride all mountain. this said I take it on the trails all the time and its great...
Some of the negatives (all very easily remedied):
- slightly loud, not aweful though.
- crankshop dual pipes but are finicky at altitude, I would recommend removing for any general / non hill climb rider. They are worth $$ so this is easy and cheap/
- must premix fuel, also not hard. This is part of the Trysgard engine package.
- clutch is adjusted with spring to come in at about 5000 rpms. 10 minute job to readjust to 3000.
- altitude compensator is there but disactivetated when stock airbox was removed. To put back in place just install stock airbox with the sensor and it's good to go...
- on / off switch was disabled (on purpose, to prevent accidents). Must use key to turn on off, which is good and bad.
- sits slightly low in the front for racing stability. Also, good and bad. Easily adjusted with new springs from Z Bros Racing.
Very good deal, and won't last long at this price. Asking $2900. May be able to help with / arrange shipping. This sled is also worth serious $$ in parts too, probably more than it is as a sled together with all the $$ into it.
